Have a lovely day!

Here are the two new squares I stitched for the charity project. They were quick to stitch as I did each one in 2 evenings.
I'm stitching it for a friend who is about to divorce and doesn't feel very well. I hope this little gift will bring some joy in her present life.
I'll choose the next one this weekend, but tonight, I'll work on my Celtic Banner...
As you may know if you are a regular visitor of this blog, I'm participating to a new RR.
I made a small journal that I joined to my RR. Inside, I wrote a little bit about myself and some instructions for the stitchers, and of course there are some blank pages so they can write some words.
Usually, my journals are only papers that I put together and decorate but this time, I decided to do something different, something more sophisticated. So I made my first fold-out (accordeon version).

It is not perfect but I had fun doing it.
Of course, I chose a Bent Creek design as it's the theme of my RR and on the back, I stitched the dates of the RR and the names of the participants : Jenna, Cathy, Catherine and me.
I know Jenna received my parcel last Thursday (it was incredible as I sent it 3 days before - Jenna lives in the USA and I live in France) and that Catherine sent hers 2 days ago. Can't wait to stitch on everyone's RR!
It's the beginning of a great adventure!
Natty received what I stitched for her for the Friendship Exchange, so I can show you what I stitched: a pocket.
I stitched on a green linen fabric and used some Atelier du Pic Vert threads.
I added some goodies but forgot to take a picture...
I'm done with the last piece of this RR started in January last year.
Some people decided to give up for different reasons and at the end we weren't 12 as we were at the beginning. Most of us decided to stitch 2 squares at the end of the rotations so everyone can have a finished RR when back home.So that's what I did on Elaine's piece, I stitched 2 Winnie: May and June.
You'll see there is one blank square, but it's normal as Elaine hasn't stitched her square. She did this because she wanted all of us to have the opportunity to choose our square.
I had some troubles when I stitched them, not becaue they were hard to stitch, but Elaine and I stitch in an opposite way, so I had to be very careful with my crosses : \ \ \ then / / / instead of / / / then \ \ \ .
My RR should be back home soon. Wendy said she sent it a few days ago. As it will arrive from Malaysia, it should be at home by the end of the month.A few times ago, I showed you what my friend Donna sent to me for our spring exchange (see here).
Even though I don't know if she received it yet, I'd like to show you what I stitched for her.I did this small pocket to receive her pack of tissues. It can be very useful in a bag... Of course, suggest you to click on the pictures to see them closer, so you'll see the colours of the thread I used.
Plume wants to say "Hi" today and she tells you she's very happy that the sun is finally back!
It is finished!
As I already told you, it was a real pleasure to stitch. It was my first Shepherd's Bush but surely not the only/last one, in fact I stitched it as the first part of a triptych.
Have a lovely day!
I think the next time I'll show you a picture I will be done with it...
I worked a little on my Shepherd's Bush Friday and yesterday's evenings. Here is my progress.
It seems the sun has finally decided to show itself in Normandy.
Have a lovely (and sunny) Sunday!
The last time I talk to you about cross-stitching was a long time ago. I do some cross-stitch between two revisions, but I can't show you yet what I did as the first one is for Donna (Spring exchange) and the second one is for Natty (Friendship Exchange). Donna should receive her surprise next week so you won't have long to wait. But mailing date for Friendship exchange is June 15th (a special day for me for another reason) so you'll have to wait a little more to see it.
A few days ago, I started to work on my first Shepherd's Bush.
So I'work on "Peter's Patch". It will be a "triptych" with "Sophie's Roses" and "Grow Love".
Here is what I've done. Don't hesitate to click on the picture to see the details.
Usually I don't stitch the border first, most of the time I start by the middle of the design, but I thought it was easier for this one. Plus, It's the time I work with some silk threads (Au Ver A Soie). It's a real pleasure and the result is so bright. I can't wait to show you my progress! *heavy sight* if there weren't those revisions...
