CB: progress of the weekend

Even though I didn't spend all the weekend working on CB, I did a lot on the border. I hope I'm done with this first colour of the border by the end of next weekend so I can start the second colour.

Celtic Banner Update

The last time I talked about my Celtic Banner, it was there. I made some great progress on it and with some luck, the border will be finished by the end of April.

I've decided to change the day I work on CB in a way to progress faster. I won't work on it on Wednesday anymore, but the whole weekend instead. I may be back to a single day when the border is done, but I will see when it happens.

Lioness : almost done

First of all, thank you for your comments about the picture of the moon I posted yesterday.

Carol, I get up between 6.30 and 6.45 AM from Monday to Friday. I know it's quite early but I hate when I have to rush in the morning, so it's perfect.

Lili, I'm the Goldorak generation too, but I don't remember this stuff about Vega.

Now, this is a photo of the lioness. I'm done with all the cross-stitched part and I just need to do the backstitch. It's not my favourite part but it gives life to the design.

Moon

A few days ago (on March 16), when I sat in the kitchen to have breakfast, the moon was in front of me. It was almost full. But its colour surprised me. Usually, the moon is yellow, but it wasn't this time.

I don't know how to explain this weird phenomen, but it was the first time I saw the moon with this colour.

About cross-stitch, I'm working on a lioness for a RR that may be finish tomorrow. If so, I'll post a picture here.

Happy Dance

All the Easter ornaments are stitched! I still have to do the finishing to give them the shape of a carrot, in fact, my mum will do it.
I added some buttons to decorate them.

Basket of eggs

I wanted to show you this Easter ornament yesterday, but I went back home too late and I didn't have time to prepare this post before.

Of course, I've started the next one but, like this one, as there is a lot to stitch, I think it will be done in 3 days.

Yesterday, I worked on my banner and it helped me to feel stressless after a hard day (some of you know why it was an exhausted day).

Chicks and Celtic Banner

Planting

Yesterday, I did some gardening. Oh not a lot as I don't have any garden or balcony, I just planted some herbs (chervil, parsley, thyme, fennel, basil, chive and coriander).

I found this lovely plate in a shop called "Nature et Découvertes" (Nature and discoveries) and I thought it would be cool to have fresh herbs to cook (if they condescend to grow).

Round Robin

Sometimes, I talk about my RR on AION board but I'm not sure I have showed you a picture of my parcel (even though I know I did on my french blog).

My theme is funny cats and this is what I stitched on my parcel.

Two more people to stitch on it and it will be back home.

Angela put a picture of my parcel on the board, so I saw what it looked like.

Vegetable and mouse

One week ago, I ordered a lovely mouse and a kit to sew her a kimono at Quilt creations. I received them today.

I can't show you a picture of a dressed mouse (I will need some time to sew the kimono), but here is a photo of the mouse.

The kit is in japanese but with a french translation, so it's going to be easier as I don't read/understand japanese at all!
