Tag!
Plume was chosen by Velvet to carry on the meme. When I told her so, she thought about it for a while, and then asked me to be her spokeswoman: she agreed to reveal 6 weird facts about herself.
(I am transcribing her exact words; although I am using the first person, do keep in mind that this is Plume talking) .
1- I love dipping my paws into my water fountain, and then strolling around the place. I really can't see why Sylvie rushes after me with a towel to wipe my paws...
2- I enjoy waking up Sylvie at 6 every morning, meowing from the other end of the flat. Believe me, I have a lot a puff - nothing to do with those minute kitten squeaks. When I meow, you do hear me - a little too loud according to Sylvie, who keeps telling me that she wishes she could remove my batteries so I kept quiet (nonsense!)
3- I hate it when people take me in their arms. Seriously, I am not a ragdoll! I do confess that when Sylvie comes back from work, I love cuddling and I sometimes happen to abandon myself in her lap (although you have to know that I've never come there by myself)
4- Brushing - ewww! Except under the chin - I love being brushed there!
5- I could go mad for catnip, and this amuses Sylvie. Really, those humans - anything makes them laugh...
6- I hardly ever wash, which accounts for my nickname - "Stinking Ass" (tut-tut - is that a name for a Demoiselle?) This enrages Sylvie... and this is why, when she deems it necessary, she uses baby wipes and cleans up my bottom - let me tell you straightaway that I really don't enjoy that!
Wow... I certainly didn't expect to unveil myself so much.
Who shall I pass this on to? ... Let's see
-Violette (Isabelle),- Tichka (Nat),- Lulu (Nicki),- Polo (Nicki).A big thank you to my dear friend, Isabelle, for the english translation!!!

Mrs Bunny (part 1)
Let me introduce Mrs Bunny...
As you can see, I worked a lot on this design, yesterday. In fact, I finished the first part and I'm going to start the back of Mrs Bunny this evening.I invite you to visit Terri's blog to see her Mrs Bunny (she was supposed to start by Mr Bunny but chose the wrong chart).Thank you for your comments about Mr Bunny.Becky, I wanted to use the R&R fabrics for the ornaments, but couldn't find them, so I'm using a 28 ct Silkweaver solo fabric ("sand") and I think I will use their "Tangerine" one for a few ornaments.

But I have no picture to share yet, it will be for this evening or tomorrow. It was really a lovely design to stitch (and a fast one too), a real pleasure !

Mr Bunny (part 2-1)
Yesterday evening, I started the second part of Mr Bunny and as there was no change of colours, it grew fast. Maybe this time I will need two days to finish it instead of 3...

Looking forward to see Terri's start on Mr Bunny.Anne: I hope to finished all the ornaments for Easter, this is why I thought about the schedule. I hope to succeed!!!Becky: It would be a real pleasure if you would join us. I know you have a lot of projects, but you know, they (easter ornaments) grow very fast!Zorah: I will keep on working on CB every Wednesday. I don't know yet what I'm gonna stitch on my first FOTM.Yes, Plume likes her plastic (but don't worry she loves to sleep on a piece of cloth too.Enjoy your weekend, my friends!

Mr Bunny (update)
There is no snow anymore and you couldn't guess it was snowing a lot this morning...But if I write this article, it isn't to talk about snow but about Mister Bunny. This ornament has a front and a back and I can tell you I've done half of the job as I finished the front part of the ornament. I needed 3 days to do it. This means that if I keep this rhythm, I will need 3 more days to finish it (and Mrs Bunny will need 6 days to be done) and then 3 days per ornament as the other ones have just one side. So if I'm not wrong, I will need 36 days to do all the ornaments and I should have them all finished on April 2. In time for Easter!(

Snow!
This morning at 8 AM, Normandy looked like this...

I certainly don't deserve all this...
... But it does feel good to be so spoiled! Nicki, who is my Adopt a Stitcher sender, told me she sent a parcel and I received it today.
The parcel wasn't heavy but was plump.
(click on pictures to enlarge them)
I just love every single thing that Nicki so thoughtfully included... It is all too cute for words!
The cushion that Nicki stitched is so pretty and perfectly stitched!
She even stitched our both names on the back!
I think I mentioned blue is my favourite colour ;)She added some lovely fabrics and threads plus a Margaret Sherry charts that was in my wishlist and a small Merino sheep kit (isn't she adorable?)
In the last package, there was a kit to make a stuffed teddy.
Look at all the sheep on the postcard!!!
And this is Plume with the ribbon Nicki used to wrap one of the packages.
What can I say? Nicki, I feel overwhelmed with your kindness and generosity. Overwhelmed in a good sense, I mean - it truly warms my heart to realize your immense, caring thoughtfulness in choosing every gift...
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, my dear friend... Big ((((hugs)))) to you!

Mr Bunny
So yesterday evening, I started to work on my first Easter ornament: M. Rabbit. I did the carrot he holds in his hands. I didn't think I would stitch it so fast. If all the design are so fast to stitch, the ornaments will be ready for Easter!!!
I was supposed to wait for Terri to receive her charts and fabric to start this SAL with her, but as she just ordered 2 of the 3 charts and that she didn't order Mr Rabbit, I decided to start by this one. I hope she doesn't mind...
Oh, this is a picture of the finished ornaments (Mr and Mrs Rabbit), so you'll have an idea of what mine would look like.
See you tomorrow for a new picture of Mr Bunny.

A cat with no head...
It is what Plume looks like on this picture (even though you can see her whiskers). This is my kitty sprawling on the table...
Fortunately, her head was back soon!!!

I was asked how long per day I devoted to her. I'm not able to say about it because it is a few minutes here and there. But I always do my best to take care of her and play with her.I brush her once a week and cut her claws once a month. She doesn't like when I brush her except when I do it under her neck (there, she loves it). She doesn't care when I cut her claws and as I keep her on my knees to do it, it always end with a cuddle. She'll be 7 on April 29. Time flies so fast. I remember the first time I meet her when she was almost one month old...Thanks for your sweet words about her. I'll pet her for you!

Nimuë and co
Nimuë is hung on the wall. It is not really framed as people used to think about a frame, so I let you see by yourself.

So, do you like it?I decided to do a SAL with Terri. Do you remember the Easter ornaments I showed you a few days ago? Terri left a comment on my english blog to ask me if I would be interested by a SAL with her. And I said OK. This is going to be very exciting. Now, about the question I posted yesterday concerning the fact that I should or shouldn't keep on posting pictures of my progress on CB, well as most of you are so enthusiastic, I will keep on share them with you. And for those you won't be interested, well they will just have to go their way as the title will talk about it.Oh I forgot, have I ever told you that you are fantastic readers and that I love when you post comments?About this, it's the first time I answer to the SBQ of the week.Comment on your comments (giving and receiving): Do you love commentsor hate them? Do you check them every day, never check them, or findthem helpful? And finally, are you convinced no one is reading yourblog if you don't get any?Of course I love comments (except when it's spam). I read them all the time and I find them helpful because they motivate me. And it's always a pleasure to read a comment because it shows my posts interest other people (and it can help to make new friends). This is the reason why I do my best to leave comments on other blogs even though some of them can be seen as redundant. When I don't get any comment, I feel sad, but with the counter, I know people read my blog.Well, that's all for today. Have a great weekend!

Celtic Banner Update
I know the picture of my progress are quite monotonous as it's not easy to see the evolution. So if you think it's too boring, I will wait until I'm done with the first colour of the border to show you the next picture (I'm far from finishing it as I haven't done half of the border yet).
So, be honest and tell me if this progress interests you. If there is at least one person who is interested, I'll keep on showing pictures, at ealst for her/him...Picture of the CB yesterday evening, before I go to bed.
