Scrapbooking and a new address
I made a page in order to always remember my first meeting with Isabelle and her little cutie. It is the first page I really work on it and I spent a lot of time to prepare it, looking for papers, trying different layouts. Once everything was perfect, I had to write the journaling and it wasn't so easy as I wanted it to describe the feelings and emotions of that special day...Papers: Bazzill, Giggle Stripes and Paisley Blue (Kelly Panacci) and Olive Stripes (Chatterbox). Flowers: Primas. Ribbon: Making Memories. Here is a translation of the journaling (a big thank you to Isabelle for her help):" On August 24 2006, Isabelle, Little Miss Cutie and I met for the first time. Our initial anxiety on this first meeting soon turned into the joy of sharing a special moment with a true friend. Our friendship is stronger every day - it is so precious to me taht I now call Isabelle "the little sister of my heart."
I'm thinking about moving this blog as I often have troubles to upload pictures. I'm testing the new blog, so can you please visit it when you have time and leave a comment to let me know if it's OK or if you have troubles? Thanks a lot.
Here is the new address: Coonie and Plume
I'll let you know if I move this blog for good. The other option is to use the Beta version of blogger but I know some people have troubles with it...

Q is for...
...Queen.This is what I stitched during the weekend.I had to do some changes because of the fact I stitch over one. I didn't stitch the eyebrows of the queen and had to reduce the number of the queen stitches. Nevertheless, I like the result.Next step: the rainbow. Thanks a lot for all your comments about Jenna's RR.I don't work this week but I don't know yet if I'm going to spend a lot of time stitching or if I'll do something else, but be sure I won't have time to get bored.Have a lovely week.

Jenna's RR
Yesterday evening, I finished my work on Jenna's round robin. Her theme is The Sweetheart Tree Hearts. The charts have a lot of specialty stitches as I like. It was hard to choose a design among the remaining ones and as I wanted to stitch one that would match the best with the ones already stitched, I did this one.Jenna will add the charms later. Here is the whole piece. It is gorgeous, isn't it?It was a real pleasure to stitch this design, maybe this is the reason why I only needed 4 evenings to stitch it...Have a lovely weekend.

Biscornu
I stitched this biscornu for my friend, Doris.I won't tell you in details why I sent this to her, all I will say is that I had to send her something and I couldn't think about sending this thing without any goodies..I chose 2 designs I found in a Mango book which was about "hearts", I used some V. Clayton silk I received from my dear Isabelle and a Silkweaver fabric.I'm so sorry my posts are so short lately but I'm too busy to write long posts. Nevertheless, I want to thank you for your fidelity and I hope to write longer posts next week as I have a week off...

Once again...
...I received a lovely parcel from New Zealand. This time, Nicki (I'm sure you guessed who sent the parcel) chose an Halloween theme. As always, I love her choices: a Lavender Wings chart and a Lizzie Kate kit I wanted to have for a long time ago, plus gorgeous pieces of fabric.Really, Nicki always puts all her heart into this exchange, she's one of the most generous person I know and I'll never thank her enough for all her gifts (and her friendship is one of these gifts).
Again, thank you so much, Nicki!
