Bent Creek: first stitches

This is my start on my new RR: Bent Creek Street Signs. The design is very pleasant to stitch. Here is what I've done.

Sylvie, this looks as though it will be a really fun RR. It's especially fun when you like what you're working on. Would you believe I've never had a successful RR. Mine never got sent back to me!
You asked about the designer of my Spring Bunny. It was in an old issue of Cross Stitch & Needlework, and the designer is Camille Harrison.

Good start on the RR, Sylvie! Which reminds me, I have to decide on a theme for mine yet, although I do have several ideas tossing around.
